All exhibitors must purchase an Exhibitors Pass for $25.00, except 4-H members entering the Open Class will pay $5.00. This pass includes first 15 entries. Additional entries are 50 cents each.

Exhibitors may enter no more than TWO entries per class and must comply with Kane County Fair Open Class rules.

The exhibitor must have grown all exhibits during the current year unless otherwise specified.

An exhibit may be entered only once in Department J of the Fair.

Registration by June 30th appreciated.

                          DEPARTMENT J2 AND DEPARTMENT J3

This division will offer a Junior Open Show in addition to the Regular Open Class. Persons to enter the Junior Open show must be 8 years of age through 18 years of age on January 1, 2012. Anyone can register for open class.

 

The criteria to be used for judging vegetables and fruit will be optimal marketable quality and size, condition, uniformity, trueness to type (typical of variety), quantity and arrangement. Plates will be furnished for individual fruit and vegetable entries.

Exhibitors must furnish containers for multiple vegetable and vegetable art entries.

These exhibits will be allocated table top space of 24 by 30 inches.

Vegetables and fruit must be in natural state; no waxing.

Two shows will be held in this division. Entry forms and fees for each show must be delivered to the Department superintendent prior to judging

Exhibits for classes judged at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, will be accepted on Thursday at 7:00 a.m., and must

be in place by 9:00 a.m. Exhibits must be removed starting at 6:00 p.m. and must be out by 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 22.
